Blackpool & The Fylde College's Race Team is registered and holds a prominent position on the Formula Renault website.

The Autosport Team, comprising of learners from the college, is committed to competing in the BARC series and are confident after securing a talented driver for the season, Craig Harris of CSS Autosport Developments

Simon Murphy from Grovewood Renault Motorsport said: "I believe it is a first for our championship to have a college entering a team where students are so heavily involved in the running of the team and it must be rare throughout motorsport."
